Why did you have to have fix what wasn't broken? After 30-some years of using Dawn Original I am forced to find a new dish soap since you have "improved"  with the "new clean scent". 

Why do manufacturers insist on adding perfume to everything these days? 

While Dawn is available in a Free and Clear formula, reading the description, it pertains to free of dyes, not perfume, aka scent. 

Please bring back  Dawn Original to what it used to be!

The “New Clean Scent” is absolutely horrible. Please don't make the original have a scent. We love the original just the way it was. The new scent lingers on everything it touches. I am fine with certain cleaning products having a scent but I do not want scent on things that I eat with! If people like it, make a separate product with the scent, but please leave the original alone! I can't get the smell off of my hands. I absolutely hate it. I am a family of 8 and I hand wash all of my dishes. I have been a long time customer. I have always loved the original blue dawn. I am so incredibly disappointed in the new scent. Please don't fix something that's not broken. Please put it back the way it was. I will no longer be purchasing unless it goes back to the old way it was.

“New Clean Scent” was a terrible mistake.

I love Dawn because it works - even though I am allergic to Methylisothiazinolone but they've now completely ruined it with this HORRENDOUS new scent. I am also allergic to perfumes and fragrances. Why change a good thing? It is most likely because they are trying to use cheaper ingredients and need to cover up the ones that are even more toxic to our skin. Shame on Dawn. I PRAY they are NOT using this AWFUL scent to clean up Mother Earth and the precious wildlife as in the past!!! Will need to find a new product.

HORRENDOUS NEW SCENT

I've been using this soap for 30 years. Just bought a new bottle and wow… Absolutely gross!  Whoever did this should be fired. If you change it back to the old scent, be sure to advertise it heavily otherwise I won't know because I'll be switching to another brand.

Horrible smell. Tell us when the original is back

I'm not sure why they thought this would be something people wouldn't complain about, but they took the fairly neutral smelling dishwashing liquid (The one that doesn't make my asthma go bonkers ) and turned it into a “new clean scent” which makes my house smell like I have dumped a bottle of cheap fabric softener on the floor. I'm ordering some Ajax. Dawn might take grease out of your way, but I am taking Dawn and throwing it away!

Awful New Smell

I have purchased this product for the past 20 years. Now it has a sticker that says "fresh new scent." It is absolutely horrible! It has an extremely strong chemical laundry smell that permeates throughout the kitchen. I cannot stand to even use the rest of the bottle and will be putting it down the drain. Whatever focus group you used to test this product out was fatally flawed. You lost a long time loyal customer.  Does the company have any plans to go back to the original scent? I will NEVER buy this product again unless it goes back to the original.

Horrible "fresh new scent"

I have used Dawn original for my entire life. It was the only dish soap I could use without getting an asthma attack. I just used my new bottle and didn't see the “New Clean Scent” label. It is horrible. I immediately had to take my inhaler and my daughter with sensitive skin is getting a rash just from being in the same room! I hate the new scent! Please change it back!

The new scent is so bad!  I loved the original scent so much and have been a loyal customer for many years. I have to switch to something else now because the new scent is just so bad. It sticks to the dishes and you can't rinse the smell. I also used it in my business and can no longer because of the complaints. Please bring back the old scent!

Original Dawn is perfect.  I love it.
I don't know why you had to add a scent to it.
When I clean I want clean.....not perfumes.  I have issues with scenes and am so disappointed you added perfume to your soap.  If you don't offer the original without this scent, I will be shopping for a new soap. ☹️

Take away the new scent!!!

The "upgraded new scent" gave me an instant headache. I've avoided buying the platinum and stuck with the original because the "higher end" version scent was terrible, too. If I can't find original without the new scent I won't be buying again and will be forced to buy a different brand after using Dawn exclusively for years.  Verizon disappointed.

New scent is AWFUL

Dawn dish soap is standby item in my home. In addition to using it on dishes, I use it for various household chores. It is a great product,  however, I'm not crazy about the new fragrance. The label advertises this as a ‘new, clean scent', but to me it smells more like perfume than clean. I've been trying to eliminate some fragrances from my home, so sadly, I may have to use unscented, and more natural dish soap in the future.
