Usefulness is bountiful. It looks gorgeous on table while keeping food warm inside. One of the dishes I made was ribs in the oven. I feel that the ribs came out better and took less time to cook in the Pioneer Woman cast iron pumpkin. Included in the pot was useful directions in how to care for the pot and how to remove any discoloration that might occur. Was very easy to clean. I just love having it on the table and serving out of it. Perfect no matter what the season. Got so many complaints.

Perfect Pumpkin

The Pioneer Woman 3.5-Quart Enamel-on-Cast Iron Pumpkin Dutch Oven, Orange is a great tool for the kitchen especially during the fall. You can cook just about anything in it! Soups and stews and boil potatoes. It even cooks evenly in the oven for those casseroles. I especially like the design.

HEFTY AND EASY TO USE, EVEN COOKING

This pumpkin dutch oven pot is the dream pot! It's very pretty, inside and out. Perfect for the fall season. It's durable and high-quality. You can cook pretty much anything in this pot. You can use it for boiling, seasoning, sautéing and even baking! I'm so excited about this pot! It would also make a great gift. The packaging was perfect. It even includes rubber protectors to prevent the lid and the base from rubbing and breaking.

Dream pot

I bought this as a gift for myself! For the price, I thought it would be a perfect addition to my thanksgiving table and it WAS perfect for my mashed potatoes, kept them warm as well.

It is a wonderful size, not too big, not too small, and the quality is EXCELLENT. I am so very pleased to have this addition to my cookware. I have several Le Creuset Dutch ovens in different sizes and I truly feel that this one closely rivals them for a fraction of the price. It is also so cute and festive. What a fantastic idea for a Dutch oven! I leave it on my stove for all to see.

A  Adorable Pumpkin

This gorgeous pumpkin shaped cast iron Dutch oven by Pioneer Woman is extremely versatile. Being cast iron, you can use it to cook so many different things. The downside to this is that it is extremely heavy, more so than my 12” cast iron skillet which seems much larger than this Dutch oven. Keep that in mind if you have weak wrists, arms, hands or any issues with dropping things. The color isn't the most eye pleasing either, being darker than most actual pumpkins. The lid also needs to be lined up exactly right to seal, which means you have to turn it until the find the correct angle it needs to be in. Despite these minor design flaws, being that it's a glazed cast iron, it cooks food amazingly while looking absolutely stunning especially during the holidays. It received so many compliments at Thanksgiving. It also comes with instructions on how to clean it should it become discolored which was very helpful considering most ‘unseasoned' users tend to wash and rust their cast iron.

Versatile Cast Iron Dutch Oven

I wish these are still available, I bought 2 last year and absolutely love these. They are a beautiful displays on my shelf when not in use, but also functional when i need a smaller dutch oven. I have the blue and Orange pumpkin. My 2 daughters finally got their own place this year and they both want one of their own

Beautiful and functional

I never had a Dutch oven before so I am quite impressed. I did not realize it was cast-iron and I've never had a cast-iron skillet before so this is already getting lots of use. Very cute design of a pumpkin and it's so pretty I keep it on my hutch to decorate in between uses.

Very cute design

I started collecting PW about a year ago and this pot was on my list so I was thrilled to be able to try it out. I made jambalaya in it last night and it turned out perfect! The pot gets very hot quickly so make sure you have pot holders near by especially for the lid. It didn't say to season it before use so I didn't and the rice stuck quite a bit to the bottom. I have pots and pans that are enamel inside and they required seasoning before use. So after I soaked my pot and used a Mr. Clean sheet to get the stuck on part off I seasoned it by rubbing oil on and then washing again. Hopefully this will help for the next use. It's a very heavy pot made extremely well just like all PW products. I love the pumpkin look of the dish it looks so pretty on my table and I will display it year round.

Another great product from PW

I wasn't sure if this was going to be too big since it is just my husband and myself but this little dutch oven is the perfect size to make dinner for us and have leftovers for the next day for lunch.

The color is bright and vibrant and coated well so it won't bake off. Still instructions say the handle might tarnish at temps over 400. The inside has a nice white smooth surface that also doesn't chip.

I gave it a spray with some cooking spray before I put the food in and clean up was a breeze. The food came out easily and it washed clean without any problems or scrubbing.

I can't wait to use it for Thanksgiving dinner sides.

Very Nice

Loved the Dutch oven. It looked beautiful on my table. My only problem is with the lid you have to line it up correctly for the lid to be tight. Other then that it's enamel on the cast iron, really heavy it doesn't look like it is, but it is and that's empty. I've being using mine to cook bread. Cooks and browns evenly. Did a roast so tender. It's 3.5 quarts which is a nice size we are a family of 4 so it works for us.

Beautiful pot but unfortunately after two exchanges my pot is still chipping right out of the package I do not believe this is made from quality material.
